首先打一一九請求急救，然後讓患者平躺，移除胸前及後背異物，接著：
 
一、不用檢查脈搏
二、不需口對口呼吸
三、不需檢查清除異物
四、手掌壓在兩乳中間的龍骨
五、一隻手掌壓在另一隻手掌上，雙臂打直，以上身重量往下壓
六、每分鐘壓一百次，胸部下沉約五公分持續做到醫護人員到達。
